Summit Craters from Etna Nord – 3350m
Trekking to the summit craters that will allow us to discover the wild north side of Etna. Departure will be from Piano Provenzana (1800mt) by 4x4 vehicle to Piano delle Concazza (2800mt).

This trek will allow us to explore the wild northern slope of the volcano, far from the crowds of mass tourism. Along the trails, we will uncover the diverse geological features of Mount Etna and the rich world of Etna's endemic plant species.
Valle del Bove – Canalone della Montagnola
After leaving the cable car station (2500m), we’ll climb to the top of the Montagnola (2640m) where we’ll be able to enjoy the great view of the summit craters.
Grotta del Gelo
The excursion to “Grotta del Gelo” does not requires technical skills, it is reserved for those who have a good physical condition and suitable equipment. It is recommended for those who want to spend a whole day into Etna’s big silences.

Il a pris le temps d’expliquer toutes ses connaissances sur l’Etna en français, italien et anglais. Nous avons eu le temps de faire des petites pauses afin de profiter du paysage en montant et au sommet pour voir les coulées de lave et les éruptions. Cela restera un des meilleurs moments de nos vacances.

Pese a que llegamos muy justos de tiempo al punto de encuentro, que había cambiado por la erupción del Etna, nos prestaron el equipo necesario (botas, chaquetas y bastones a los mayores). El guía que nos tocó, Simone, fue muy instructivo y cuidó del grupo en la subida, atendiendo a la seguridad de todos.
